York Small Boats Head
18th November 2001
The senior men and women made the trip to York SBH determined to confirm their status as the strongest college in the first competitive event of the year. Strong performances where produced by the women's 1st IV and the men's 1st IV and 2nd IV. The race saw the women's crew led by squad captain Jess Rhodes, narrowly beaten into second among the colleges, whilst the men finished 1st and 4th; the 2nd IV beating a number of college 1st IVs despite a scrappy race. Club captain Robin Collins brought home the silverware, winning both the single and double sculls categories.
